First Fighting Sioux Game

At the beginning of November, I headed to Chicago to see my family and meet my newest nephew Kolby James! As always, my family loves a good road-trip so my mom, sister, nephews, and I made the 12 hour trek through Wisconsin, Minnesota, and into North Dakota to see my brother Luke. I had never been to his campus and my sister and I were excited to catch our first Fighting Sioux football game! So we braved the snow, turned up the Christmas music, and listened to a little 2 year old boy in the back seat saying "bus no...truck YES!" as we passed all the semi-trucks from Chicago to Grand Forks!

We were welcomed into Grand Forks with the Alerus Center- Home of UND Football and my little brother's new stomping grounds!

Woke up to fresh snow! Thank goodness the Sioux play in a dome...

Cheered on the team as they entered the dome

 We love #45!!!

UND took on Southern Utah. Although, my brother was on the sidelines as a red-shirt freshman, I did know someone out on the field- my hubby's friend Brad was the QB for Southern Utah. It was fun to watch him play and listen to the guys in front of us talk about him being drafted next year!

 Little UND fans!

 our Luke!

Our time in Grand Forks was so fun! It was hard to leave but...looking forward to the years to come as we travel back to Grand Forks and elsewhere around the western U.S to see my brother and the Fighting Sioux take on the Big Sky Conference!
