November 2015

We started November right off with a bang! On November 2nd, we found out baby #2 was on his/her way! And the all day morning sickness began!....My dr. did put me on medication that helped some but most of my days in November were spent with my head in the toilet and a little girl next to me patting my back :) On November 17th, we got to see baby for the first time and announce this pregnancy to my family!
When my head wasn't in the toilet, I was laying on the couch watching a crazy busy 16 month old run around and pull out every toy, book, anything she could get her hands on.

My cousin Katelyn was in CA to visit her fiance so we got to meet up with them for a little while! Was so fun to see them and catch up!!!

A few things about Gabriella this month: she pretends to talk on the phone. She uses things as a purse and walks to the door and pretends she is going to leave. She is into EVERYTHING- we had to move our silverware and re-arrange some things because she could still open drawers (despite child locks)! Gabriella loves looking at family pictures and this month she talks about Papa a lot! She loves to taunt and bug the dogs which most of the time results in the dogs being crated because they get a little cranky with her.

Thanksgiving Day was bittersweet this year. We have SO much to be thankful for and what a wonderful day to reflect on all of that. We also got to announce our new pregnancy to Manny's family! On Thanksgiving night, we got the call that Manny's grandpa had passed away. It was expected and we were thankful that he was no longer suffering. We were, of course, so sad that he was gone. He played a huge and important father-figure role in Manny's life and he will be greatly missed. Manny did have the chance to tell him about our pregnancy and also had a chance to say goodbye before he passed.
We finished out the month by graduating from our fertility clinic to the regular OB-GYN! In November, we had 3 ultrasounds and loved getting to peak at our baby almost each week. On November 30th, I had my last ultrasound at HRC and was then released to my OB-GYN. Graduating from the fertility clinic is always a little bittersweet. We love love love our clinic, doctor, and the staff. Everyone is wonderful and really feel like a 2nd family! We also really love our OB-GYN and not being a high risk pregnancy anymore so the transition is always great to regular pre-natal care.
