We traveled to North Dakota the second weekend in November for my brother's Senior Day. We left here on Thursday afternoon and arrived into Minneapolis/St. Paul around 11 pm. My parents picked us up at the airport, and we headed to our hotel. We arrived just after midnight.
We woke up early the next morning for our 5 hour drive into Grand Forks, North Dakota. The kids did great and slept most of the time, and we only had to stop once! We arrived just in time to drop my parents off at a Fan Luncheon that my brother was speaking at, and my sister (and her family) and Manny, the kids, and I headed to our favorite sporting goods store- Scheels! The kids played for awhile and my sister and I shopped :) We then headed to one of our favorite restaurants-the Ground Round for lunch while we waited for my parents and brother to finish up at the Luncheon.
We checked into our hotel and headed to the Alerus Center to watch Luke practice. The kids had the best time playing on the sidelines, running around the field, and trying on Uncle Luke's game day helmet!
We met up with my brother and sis-in-law and Luke's high school football coach and all headed to the Pizza Ranch for dinner! We had the best surprise after we were done eating when my brother and sister-in-law told us that they are expecting a baby!!! :) After dinner, we headed back to our hotel to put the kids down before our big day on Saturday.
