North Dakota Trip Days 3-4

We were up bright and early on Game Day (thank you kiddos) and had time to kill before all of the football activities began. This is how you keep 4 kids entertained in a hotel room...

We got ready to brave the cold and see the team walk into the Alerus Center before their game. This has always been my favorite part of Game Day! It was a COLD day in North Dakota. I somehow didn't get any pictures of  Luke walking in with the team.

We had a great time at the game! The kids all did really well-Madden even slept a little. UND struggled the first part of the game but had a great comeback and WON the game! It was not only special to be there because of Luke's Senior Day but to also be there to celebrate as UND became Big Sky Champs!!!
A few pictures after the game...
We went out to dinner after the game and then hung out as a family before we went our separate ways on Sunday. We attended Luke's church with my parents Sunday morning and then hit the road for the longest travel day. We drove 5 hours back to Minneapolis and caught a 5 pm flight home. Madden was just done and screamed his head off for over an hour on our layover in Phoenix. He screamed a little on our flight from Phoenix into CA too. Needless to say, we were all DONE with travel at that point.
It was bittersweet to leave Grand Forks knowing Luke's football career was over. We have had the best time traveling to watch Luke and UND football take on the Big Sky Conference the last 5 years! We have so many great memories and have had so much fun!
