Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! Today I am linking up with AndreaErika, and Narci for Friday Favorites. We are kicking off our weekend by going to Disneyland to see all the Halloween decorations, and then spending the rest of the weekend getting ready for my family to come! Here are some favorites this week...

My blog got a makeover and a new name! It's been a favorite of mine to work on this and start adding different content. I've had this blog for over 5 years now and have always just blogged for me to be able to look back on, but I'm changing it up! I'll still blog about our family and our life here in Southern California, but I am adding things that I love like traveling, sweets, tips for simple living, and more! I think I am designating Mondays as "Travel Monday" around here for awhile where I'll talk about places we have traveled to, tips for traveling, etc. I love this little space that is mine and an outlet for this stay at home mom to be creative and do something for myself!

I decorated for Fall and so far this is my favorite decoration. I threw out/donated a bunch of my previous decorations because they were just old so when I went to decorate this year, I literally had 5 things. So off to Hobby Lobby and HomeGoods I went. I found this sign at HomeGoods and plan to go back to see what else they are getting in soon.

We recently bought Annual Passes for Disneyland, and that is our favorite thing to do right now! I think our first week having them, we were there 3 times...and one of those I took the kids by myself (and survived!). We love being able to go for a couple hours here and there. Our kids just love it, and my 3 year old already walks around like she owns the place :)

My favorite drink is iced tea and why I have never bought this is beyond me?! I've always just bought lipton or the store brand and made it, but on my last Target trip, I threw this in the cart and will never be looking back!

My favorite little girl started dance and just LOVES it! She's been dancing and trying to imitate dance moves from movies (Trolls, SING, etc) for months now so we put her in a jazz/tap/ballet combo and she is all smiles the entire time! I didn't grow up dancing so this is all new to me, but I'm so happy she is doing something that she loves right now.

Happy Friday, friends!!! XO

  1. How fun that you guys are close enough to just swing into Disneyland for a couple of hours here or there! I love iced tea as well, I'll have to look into that.
