All the (Christmas) Things Part 2

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Erika and Ashley for Tuesday Talk, and I am re-capping  our Christmas activities this past week. I re-capped our first week doing all the Christmas things here and will have one more after Christmas.

So this past week was supposed to be pretty low key for us, but we had a lot of stuff randomly come up so we went with it :) Now we are just enjoying the last week before Christmas...can't believe it is already almost here!

First up....one of the things that randomly came up! Manny called me from work one day and asked if we had plans for Saturday because he had been given tickets to Disney on Ice. So we headed downtown LA to the Staples Center for our very first Disney on Ice. Manny and I were excited, but I wasn't sure how our kids (ages 3 and 1) would do and if they would even be into it. Let me tell you...our 3 year old LOVED it! She stayed entertained for most of the show and was totally into it. And we were super impressed with the show too. This is definitely something we will probably try and go see every year!

princesses are boring....

We had dinner one night with my group of friends. Love these ladies and doing life with them. We don't get to see each other all that often so it makes it sweeter when we do get to be together.

We made a gingerbread house one night with the kids. We are pretty much the worst builders ever, and it quickly came crashing down....

And last, Gabriella had her very first dance recital. I wasn't sure how she would do because she is pretty shy, but she got on that stage and LOVED every minute of dancing in front of an audience. When it came time for her little solo (whatever she wanted to make up), she surprised us all and slid on the floor. Ha ha ha!

What fun Christmasy things have you done this week?!

  1. Your kiddos are too cute! We have loved Disney on Ice too! We've still got to go see Christmas lights and bake cookies with my mom this week!
