Happy Friday! I am back with Friday Favorites. It has been a LONG time but I am so happy to be back. Today, I am linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea with some of my favorites lately.
In February, I went "back to work" for the first time in 3 1/2 years...and when I say "back to work" I mean from home and I set my own schedule.
I started teaching English to kids in China through VIPKID, and I LOVE it! I do not have a teaching background and have never really even considered teaching, but this job has been so fun and so rewarding. It is definitely a favorite of mine!
This is also one of my favorite things to share because it is a great way to earn extra income right from home. I have a post on my page with a little more information here. If you have any questions please e-mail me at email@example.com. I would love to answer questions and help any way that I can. This job has been such a blessing to me and I am always happy to pass it on! You can also find more information through my referral link on the website here.
After a long brutal winter and a spring full of rain, we have finally had nicer weather here in the Chicago area. And one of our favorite things to do is spend the day in the city. On this day, we head to Lincoln Park and the Lincoln Park Zoo. We love this zoo and we love this view.
On this day, Gabriella told me "mom, I love Chicago. It's my favorite."
This is a summer time favorite of mine! I put it on my face every day and feel like it gives my face really good protection when I am out in the sun. Most summer days I do not have foundation on so I just throw this on. If I do put foundation on, I use this as a primer underneath. My favorite time to get this is when Clinique includes a free gift with purchase and I believe they currently are here.
A daily favorite of ours (when the weather cooperates) is heading to our local pool. We bought a pass for the summer again and have been here quite a bit already. Gabriella love love loves the water and Madden could take it or leave it. Most of the time he just lays at the edge and watches everyone else :)
time-outs DO happen at the pool :)
Reading has always been a favorite of mine. I read 72 books last year and loved every minute of reading. However, this year I have struggled to find the time. This summer I set a goal to read 10 books. I finished my first one and LOVED it! It is a great little mystery and it kept me guessing until the end. I loved how the chapters alternated between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law and how we were shown perspective from both sides. Have you read this? What did you think?!
That's a wrap for my first Friday Favorites this year (now that we are almost half way through the year!). Have a great weekend!!!
